Tammy and Family, I never had the privilege of meeting Elton but I know he was a good person, husband, and father because I could see the love & glow in Tammy. You know how much she loved him in the way she talked about him, showed photos of the food she put so much thought in preparing for her Elton for all us to see and spoke many times of how Elton had spoiled her on her facebook. We know he loved her and she is going to miss him like crazy but I pray that with God's amazing grace that he will help you and your children and grandchildren hold dear to your memories and give you peace and comfort now and for the coming days. I'm so heart broke for you and your family, but you all will have a special guardian angel looking down on you! I'm truly sorry I never got to meet this special man. Love and prayers to you my friend! I'm hear for you anytime. Always, Gina Tomlinson Brunett

Tammy, There are no words that can express my sorrow for you and your family. I know the feeling of losing your loved one in a tragedy and not having complete closure. I lost Dad at the age of 58 and I have seen the pain of losing your one and only love through my Mom's eyes. Your love will never fade. Your strength, faith and love of you family and friends will keep you placing one foot in front of the other. Knowing that one day you will reunite with him You know how much he loved his family and he will always be a part of each and every one of you. I ask in Jesus name for strength for you, Josh, Amy and all the other family and friends. Cathy McCoy Trail

Several years ago West Hardin had a dinner theater. Well Elton, Ms. Pilgram & myself got picked to dress up like chickens & do a chicken dance. As you can guess Elton stole the show. He was by far the best chicken. Not only did he dance ( like a chicken ) he also crowed We all were laughing so hard. Elton always wanted to make people laugh. Great Guy. Love & prayers for Tammy and her family

When I think of Elton I think of a steadfast honest Man and will always remember him and the time Jamie Williams caught them two 8 pound Bass out of Chessers pound and come to find out Elton was the one that put them in there LOL. I know now the reason he did it was to try and stock the pound right by his house and here two little Boys come and ruin it lol but it sure feed the family well that couple days. What a great Man!!! My prayers for y'all Tammy
