Wendy Ann Newbury, 51,of Liberty, died Wednesday May 24, 2017 in Liberty.

A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

Serving as pallbearers are Dwight Patterson, Jack Leather, Michael Johnson, Clayton Hodges, Andy Hodges, and Charles Henderson.

A native of San Angelo, TX she had lived in Liberty most of her life and retired from Watson Trucking in Liberty. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Rychlik and sister, Cindy Claire Staner.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years Michael Newbury of Liberty, daughters, Kayla Perry Grigsby of Dayton and Macie Taylor of Baytown., stepchild; Jerry Wayne Newbury and wife Andrea of La Porte, grandchildren; Khoury Grigsby, Addison Newbury, Ashley Toby and husband Dan of Minot, ND, mother and father Charles and Vivian Henderson of Baytown, sisters; Audrey Hodges and husband Clayton of Baytown, Juley Staner and husband Heath of Anahuac, TX, brother Jerry Rychlik and wife Sheri of San Angelo, TX, and stepbrothers; Dan Henderson of Livingston, John, and Kenneth Henderson both of Jasper, nephews; Andy Hodges and wife Cathy of Richmond, TX, Jeremy Rychlik and wife Jordan of Fort Stockton, TX, Travis Colvin and wife Shelby of Baytown, Joshua Rychlik of San Angelo, TX and Trevor Colvin of Baytown, nieces; Leila Hodges of Aurora, CO, Ashley Hodges of Baytown, Jessey Staner, Josey Staner, and Jaysey Staner all of Anahuac, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives.

She was an adopted mother to many throughout her years. She loved her animals was a 'Mother

Hen'. She was devoted to her husband and family and would give you the shirt off of her back.
