Weldon Douglas 'Doug' Morgan, 61, of Saratoga died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont with his family by his side. Doug was born May 25, 1956, to Weldon and Shirley Wells Morgan in Morgan City, LA.

Doug graduated from McNeese University with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. He moved to Saratoga in 1977 and worked in the oilfield industry. Doug loved rodeo and loved to ride bulls, but above that, he loved his grandchildren. Every time Buttercup and Buck came to visit 'Big Daddy' it would put a big grin on his face.

Doug is preceded in death by his father, Weldon Eugene Morgan

Those left to cherish his memory are; mother, Shirley Faye Morgan of Saratoga, son, Dustin Wayne Morgan of Brenham, daughter, Kaci Kae Morgan of Saratoga, sisters, Shirley Jean Gillen of Saratoga, Carolyn Rene' Anderson and husband Rodger of Livingston, and Lesha Dannette Page of Saratoga, grandchildren, Jayci Rae 'Buttercup' and Valen Grae 'Buck' Morgan, and a host of loving friends.

Service of remembrance will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc with Reverend Mark Ainsworth and Reverend Frank Aragon officiating. Interment will follow at Oilfield Cemetery. A gathering of Doug's family and friends will also be on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc.
