Walter Lee Lowe

1968 ∼ 2025

Walter Lee Lowe, 57, passed away on December 2, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on February 17, 1968, in Cleveland, Texas, to Richard Lowe and Marie Elaine McAdams Lowe.

Walter was a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry for 30 years, a profession that not only showcased his robust skills but also fulfilled his passion for operating heavy machinery. Walter's career was marked by his commitment to his craft and the genuine enjoyment he found in working with his bulldozer, both at his job and at home.

Walter was known for his good heart and caring nature, traits that resonated deeply with those around him. He was often described as loving yet tough, a combination that made him a respected figure among his peers and a cherished presence in the lives of his family. His willingness to help others was a hallmark of his personality, earning him the admiration of friends and family alike.

His passions extended beyond his work; he found joy in fishing, hunting, and camping — activities that underscored his love for the outdoors. Above all, Walter treasured the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He took immense pride in being a father and grandfather, instilling in them a sense of adventure and the value of hard work.

Walter is survived by his mother, Marie Elaine Lowe; his son, Lucas Lowe; grandchildren, McKenna Grace Lowe, and Logan John Lowe; along with his sister, Robin Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lowe; his wife, Dawn Lowe; and his daughter, Janet Lowe.

Services to commemorate Walter Lee Lowe will be held on December 8, 2025, at West End Baptist Church, located at 13189 Cotton Road, Saratoga, Texas. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Keith DeLaMoriniere. Interment to follow at Felps Cemetery.

Honoring Walter as pallbearers are Travis Jackson, Josh Bowman, BJ Meche, Artie Hart, Timmy Storey and Jeff Johnson. Honorary pallbearer is his son Lucas Lowe.
