My heart is with Rene’s family which included Saratoga and many people from other areas. We had a lot of fun times together that I will never forget. Rene was always smiling wherever she was. Family was the most important part of her life as was the fire department. Heaven has a special angel with them since Rene’ joined. See you one day my friend from many years back. Love you.

My memories of Rene’ goes back to September of 1966 in Ms. Ruth Tomlinson’s first grade class. Many of us started first grade together and graduated together. It was like graduating with your brothers and sisters. Rene and I seemed to be playground mates a lot, on the same team of “Red Rover”, we played basketball, band and into other things all throughout our school years. We giggled in class and cut up when we could get by with it. Even when she and I would disagree on something, you couldn’t stay mad. She would look at you and give one of her silly faces or smiles and it was over. Rene was involved a lot in school and it is of no wonder she carried that to her walk of life to support her hometown community. She definitely had a big heart and was full of compassion. We reconnected thru Facebook, and unselfishly she never told me how much involved she was with and in the community. I found out looking thru her photos and finally asked her. I’ve not lived at home for over 30 years, but in reading comments from Facebook posts, the Saratoga community, her community, her passion to serve, loved and appreciated all she did. And I appreciated having her as a friend for all my life. My sympathy to Acey, Ms. Joyce and Gary. My heart hurts for you. Your loss is being shared by so many, may God grant you Peace and wrap His loving arms around you. Rene, one day I’ll see you again….you better be on your game of jump roping…. Love you and you’ll always be in my heart and in my memories.

I loved you as a child but when I grew you was my Aunt Renee, even know we weren't kin. We have worked side by side for a year now in the fire department. I have came to love you even more, and my heart has been ripped to pieces. It saddens me that you saved and helped SO MANY but none of us had the chance to save you. You are missed and loved very much. Always in Our Heart!

I can still hear her calming voice & kind words, during one of the scariest, worst times in my life. I didn’t even have the recollection til we spoke a year or so later. I had a head injury & could see her face until she helped me piece it together. I love you Mrs. Rene ❤️. I know that your caring kind spirit is with our lord. You are the Moma of all Moma’s & the lord is going to love having you, beside him, I know I did. Thank you & rest easy, you are now home. You will be missed. I will be praying for you, Acey, Gary, Cindy & family. God bless you all.

We got the news yesterday of Rene's passing. She was a wonderful lady and loved by all that knew her. I had the opportunity to meet and know her when I became a member of this wonderful family. Our oldest daughter and Kacey were born about the same time and one of my fondest memories is the two of them playing at their home as babies. Our hearts go out to Acy and the rest of the family. You are all in our prayers. We love you The Cooper family
