Tommy Scott, 67, of Kountze, TX, passed away Sunday May 12, 2013 at Village Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Lumberton. Tommy loved to go around and visit with family and friends, drink coffee, work, and watch his old favorite westerns, especially John Wayne.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Scott; parents, Hugh and Annie Scott; sisters Mildred Lott and Patsy Hendrix.
He is survived by his children, Wayne Scott and wife Susan of Sour Lake, Richard Scott and wife Jamie of Sour Lake, Ronda Gaspard and husband Mandon of Sour Lake and Jessica Scott of Sour Lake; step-children, Joshua Koehl and wife Monique of Sour Lake, Jake Koehl of Sour Lake and Monica Sowders and husband Evan of China; brothers, Robert Scott and wife Ruth of Sour Lake, Billy Scott and wife Kathy of Saratoga and James Scott and wife Mary Lou of Saratoga; sister, Peggy Biano and husband Buddy of Daisetta; and numerous grandchildren.
His family will receive friends Tuesday May 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Faith and Family Funeral Service Chapel. A service of remembrance is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel. Internment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Kountze.
