75 of Hull, Texas died Saturday September 1, 2012 at Fairy's Landing Personal Care Center of Hull. Service of remembrance will be held Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 2:00P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel with Reverend Bonnie Osteen officiating, interment will follow at the Guedry cemetery in Batson. The family will be receiving friends also on Wednesday September 5, 2012 from 10:00A.M. until time of service. Thomas was born February 28, 1937 in Russellville, Kentucky to parents Homer Watkins and Mabel Gertrude Murphy and had lived in Hull since 1987 and was a retired Truck Driver and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Bill and Curt Watkins, brother Curtis Watkins. Survivors are wife Mary Watkins of Hull, Stepfather Elmer Westray of Louisville, Kentucky son David Jenkins of Pasadena. Daughters Peggy Cole of Needsville Texas Robin Bozotta of North Carolina, Anita Moore and husband Mike of Santa, Fe Texas. Sister Phyllis Westray of West Port, Kentucky grandchildren fifteen, great grandchildren three. Pallbearers are Colt Moore, Clint Moore, George Eichelberger, Gerald Esthay, Jeff Tullar and Ronny Myers.
