Theresa Renee Ferguson

Theresa Renee Ferguson, 48, of Beaumont, passed away at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was born April 2, 1971, in Beaumont to the late James A. Ferguson and Mary Virginia McClelland. Renee, as she was affectionately known, loved the LaBelle-Fannett Volunteer Fire Department, which her grandfather help start, and loved to give her time to help her community when in need. When she wasn't cooking for those she loved she could be found in a quiet place reading a good book until she was needed, and she would jump right up to help. She had a huge caring heart and wanted to make sure everyone had what they needed. She found love 8 years ago with James Eric Nash, she was an amazing person and mother to everyone, her and James even became host parents for the past 9 months to two wonderful boys that she loved dearly, Tomas Jaramillo Gonzalez and Jasper Bordes.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 8 years, James Eric Nash of Beaumont; her boys, Tomas Jaramillo Gonzalez of Cali Columbia, and Jasper Bordes of Hamburg Germany; uncle, Robert "Bob" McClelland and wife Andrea of Anahuac, TX; cousins, Lisa Garner and son August of Jersey Village, TX, Mary Ann Ferguson of Anchorage, AK, Travis Ferguson of New York, NY, and a host of loving friends.

A memorial service of remembrance will be Sunday, May 26, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. at LaBelle Baptist Church with Reverend Sunny Hathaway officiating. A memorial gathering of Renee's family and friends will also be Sunday, May 26, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at LaBelle Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be her boys, Tomas Jaramillo Gonzalez and Jasper Bordes.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family of Theresa Renee Ferguson. May you find comfort in your loving memories of Theresa and in God’s promise to see our loved ones again through the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) What joy there will be to welcome back Theresa to a beautiful, peaceful earth as God originally purposed (Gen 1:28; Psalms 37:11;29) free from pain, sickness and death. (Rev 21:4) Hold on to all your happy memories of your beloved Theresa and may these, along with all the promises of God, who cannot lie, bring you comfort and peace.
