Terry Lynn Wilson

Terry Lynn Wilson, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on November 26, 2024, in Saratoga, Texas. Born in Silsbee, Texas on April 8, 1952, Terry dedicated much of his life to working in the oilfield, where he skillfully served as a crane operator until his retirement. His contributions to the field were noteworthy, but it was his character that truly defined him.

Terry was a loving and caring individual, known for his hard work and dedication not just to his career but also to his family. He held a profound love for those around him and always made time to enjoy their company. Terry's genuine spirit extended beyond his family as he consistently sought to help others in need, expecting nothing in return. His kindness and selflessness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Terry proudly served in the United States Airforce from 1973 to 1977. This chapter of his life shaped him into the resilient and dependable person that friends and family admired.

 He had a passion for fishing, often spending tranquil moments outdoors, which allowed him to reflect on life and connect with nature. These memories are treasured by those who shared that time with him.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, James Wilson (Karyn); his sister, Tammy Wilson Jones (Mike); and his beloved grandson, Zachary Wilson. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, George Raymond Wilson and Faye Lilley, and his son, David Lee Wilson.

A memorial service to honor Terry will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, officiated by Pastor Aaron Leger at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. 

Terry’s life was a testament to love, hard work, and unwavering kindness, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike.
