Kelly, Alura, I've not written anything before now because I couldn't find words to express how I feel. I still can't. All I can say is that I think Tonya knew how much Frances and I always loved her. I told her every time I saw her. Please know that I love you both as well. This breaks my heart. Glenn

I'm so very sorry to hear about Tatonyas passing. I loved hanging out with her and going to the palace on teen night with Tatonya and her sister Kellie. I've tried for the last 6 month's to find her. She was on my heart in such a heavy way. Sure wish I could have gotten to talk to her. I'll always love her. Praying for her Mom, Kellie and daughters. Love y'all😢😢

I would like to say I have known Tonya since I was in middle school. I met her and Kelly when Alura married joe. Every since that day I have and always will consider Tonya a sister to me. In this life you can only count on one hand if that the number of true friends you can count on being there if needed. Tonya would be on the top of my list. As with her she knows I would do the same for her. Tonya and I were inseparable for many years up through high school. I have many memories, mostly personal ones of me and her talking about things in our lives going on, we understood one another. I remember us crawling out in the roof at night and sitting there for hours talking, to watching her and kelly fight, lol. Sitting here writing this I could name so many awesome memories. I don’t know if anyone knows this but Tonya wrote poems. I read one that she showed me and it was really good. She was very smart, very caring to other people. Tonya is a beautiful person inside and out. God has a bigger plan for her. Tonya, Kelly and Alura I love you, Tonya always called me Torri Lou. I will never forget you and again I love you.

Mother, sister, daughter, friend, warrior, our angel. We will never go a day without missing you. My sister and I were so grateful to have been your daughters. I am blessed beyond measures to have the life you have chosen for me and I never got a chance to tell you thank you. Our mother was so passionate when it came to animals, anything with a heart beat and most of all her family. She was funny, witty, caring, so kind, so gracious, so beautiful. And most of all her love for God was unimaginable. We will continue to spread your memories you shared with us and your greatest legacy with everyone we come across. Thank you for showing us how to defend and stand up for what we know is right, and showing us how to love others so deeply and supporting everything that came into our path. Nothing hurts more than this but I know you're no longer suffering and we are all jealous you got to see she Lord before we did. He is so great. Gone but never forgotten, in our heart forever. My sister has battled and struggled with this life for as long as I remembered. She is at peace now . She loved her babies , her family and any animal that walked this earth. She could get mad at you but 10 seconds later laugh and be over it, she held no grudges. She had a huge heart and I already miss arguing with her, laughing and seeing her face. I wish I could talk with her one more time, Hear her voice and tell her I love her. We are all devastated . She sent me a message so weeks ago stating for me not to worry about her for God is in her core she said, “God says if you follow me you will not be stumbling through darkness for living light will flood your path”, the end of that conversation was if I could help just one person down the right path my life would be fulfilled. Tonya, my sister u will reach someone through your death this will help someone somewhere come out of the the darkness of the bindings that fought against and they will walk in the light of our Lord! It may be a friend a family member or a stranger but your story does not end here, we will all keep your memory alive in our hearts .
