Sara Ann Guedry Burnett

1928 ∼ 2012

Sara Ann Guedry Burnett, 73, of Saratoga, passed away Monday July 30, 2012. She was a member of The First Assembly of God of Saratoga. She was a wonderful and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered and missed for her dedication, love, courage, kind heart, and beauty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thad Sherman Burnett; parents, Everet Hale and Willie Grace Guedry; brother, Nathan Hale Guedry; sister, Katherine Tuttle; grandson, Andrew Warren 'Andy' Beaty.

She is survived by her children, Meia Grace Burnett Beaty and husband John of Saratoga, Thad Douglas Burnett of Saratoga, Sherman Timothy Burnett of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Anna Brown and husband Aaron of Saratoga, Timothy Colt Beaty and Heather Williams of Saratoga, Chessie Beaty and Daniel Payne of Liberty, Chloe' Ann Beaty of Saratoga; great grandchildren, Caleb Aaron Brown of Saratoga, Cayden Warren Brown of Saratoga, Trista Evangeline of Saratoga; brother, Joel Dean Guedry and wife Janice of Berne, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at the First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga on Friday August 3, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A service of remembrance will held at the First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Reverend Jeff Blizzard. Burial will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Colt Beaty, Caleb Brown, Aaron Brown, Daniel Payne, John Beaty, Clifford Tuttle, Nathan Tuttle and Ronnie Burnett.
