Roy Glen Smith

1956 ∼ 2012

Roy Glen Smith, 55, of Hardin, went to be with his Lord and savior on Tuesday February 29, 2012. He spent his childhood in Dayton. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was, admittedly, a rebel who lived on the wild side until he turned his life over to Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Smith of Hardin; sons, Roy Glen Smith, Jr. and wife Tabitha, Adam Wayne Smith and wife Amanda Ann, John Phillip Smith; daughter, Willie Ernestina Smith; sisters, Sandra Lee Hopson and husband Clifford, Wanda Jeanette Smith, Willie Ann Rhame and husband Cecil Dale, Karen Bernice Bennight and husband Joe Robert, Deborah Gail Thompson and husband Benny, Barbara Sherry White; brother, Robert Wayne Smith and wife Liza; grandchildren, Autumn Rose, Adam Wayne Smith, Jr., Savannah Raine, Jory Ashton, Tristin Augustus, Heather Ann, Eileen Brooke, Richard Scott, Endora Louise; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service is planned for 3:00 Sunday, March 25, at Kenefick Southern Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Jeff Day. He will be laid to rest at Greenville Cemetery in Kenefick.
