Ross Henry Taylor, 75, of Batson, Texas went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 21, 2023, at his residence in Batson, Texas. Ross was born on July 17, 1948, to the late Reverend Henry Roy Taylor and Marion Daniels in Liberty, Texas. Ross was a retired gauger and pumper for Oilfield Services, Arco and Quail Creek. He loved being outdoors, working on the farm, and equipment. Ross will be missed by all who loved him.
Ross is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 25 years Susie Ann Taylor of Batson, Texas; sister, Esther Chalfant and husband Frank of Hull, Texas; sons, Ross H. Taylor Jr. and partner David Kinney of Port Neches, Texas, Edgar Earl Taylor of Moss Hill, Texas; daughter, Melissa Faye Carnes and husband Mark of Palestine, Texas; step-son, Garrison McCoy and wife Regina of Kingwood, Texas; step-daughter, Dawn Steele of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Ty Carnes, Dalton Taylor, Dylon Taylor, Aidan McCoy, Gracilynn McCoy, Bella McCoy, Everett McCoy; many loving relatives and a host of friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, 11:00 am at Faith & Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Emerson Barnhill officiating. Interment to follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will begin on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 10:00 am until service time at Faith & Family Funeral Chapel.
