of Beaumont, died on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Oakwood Manor in Vidor with her family and friends by her side.She was 91.

She was born August 21, 1925 in Port Neches, TX to Louis Hales and Mary Hales. She had lived in Beaumont 53 years and had worked for Credit Bureau of Beaumont, for 42 years. She was a member of Westgate Memorial Baptist Church of Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.A. Hales and Mary Hales, brothers, Acie Hales, Frances Hale, and Wallace Hales. Sisters, Lois Barton and Ethel Jolley.

Survivors are nieces, Phyllis Lindsey of Vidor, Linda Mitchell of Baton Rouge, Anita Nugent of Lumberton, Diana Gorski of Virginia, Mary Ann Pounds and Jan Wilder. Nephews, Lynn Hales of Yorktown, VA, Brian Jolley of Florida, and Mike Hales of Lumberton, TX.

Graveside service will be held on Friday April 28, 2017 at 11:00A.M. at Guedry cemetery in Batson with Reverend Jeff Sandusky officiating.
