Ronda Lynn Brown

Ronda Lynn Brown, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, passed away December 2, 2024, at the Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas. Born on January 8, 1955, in Vidor, Texas, Ronda lived a life that was vibrant and full of love for her family and the outdoors.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Roy Brown; her cherished daughters, Leona Lindsey and Ramona Payne; and her loving brother, Danny Jenkins. Ronda also leaves behind her dear sisters, Kathy Moss, Ricky Jenkins, and Shelia Laarman, along with her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom were bright lights in her life.

Ronda was known for her deep love of nature, often spending her days in the woods or at the pond fishing. These serene moments were a reflection of her personality; she embraced life with joy and used her time outdoors to bring peace and happiness to her heart. Her family will forever remember her playful spirit, especially her delight in playing with her grandbabies, which brought her immense joy.

She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Webster Jenkins; her mother, Frances Jenkins; her sons, Don "Buckshot" Richard Doucette and Roy Dale Brown, Jr.; her brother, Timmy Jenkins; and her grandchild, Caringtin Mosley. Each of these individuals held a special place in Ronda's heart, and their memory will be cherished alongside hers.

The family invites those wishing to pay their respects to attend the visitation at First Assembly of God in Saratoga, Texas, on December 5, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, at First Assembly of God on December 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Josh Alpers officiating, followed by Ronda's burial at Felps Cemetery in Thicket, Texas, where she will be laid to rest.
