Reverend Roger Neil Brothers, 54, of Saratoga, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday October 19, 2014. He was a minister, musician-song writer and great teacher of the Word. He pastored five churches and evangelized full time for 15 years from the East Coast to the West Coast. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who had a contagious laugh.

He spent his last two years pioneering the 123 Church in Hardin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Brothers; brother, Donald Ray Brothers; sister, Diana Gail Brothers and grandson, Christian Malachi Campbell.

He is survived by his loving wife Connie Renee Brothers of Saratoga; mother, Ermadean Lois Brothers of Prairieville, LA; children, Christopher Neil Brothers and wife Maria of Liberty, Deonna Kamar Campbell and husband Michael of Saratoga and Jonathon Wacey Brothers and wife Michelle of Conroe; sisters Loyce Hollingsworth and husband Travis of Central, LA, Nancy June Messer and husband Thurston of Prairieville, LA and Patsy Jo Love and husband Gary of Belton and 14 grandchildren.

His family will receive friends Tuesday October 21, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God Church of Batson. A service of remembrance will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 22, 2014 at New Life Assembly of God Church of Batson, officiated by Reverend Chad Buttrey. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Liberty.
