Robin Carol Taylor

Robin Carol Taylor, devoted mother, grandmother, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Robin's journey was marked by a warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met. Her radiant smile was a beacon of comfort and joy, especially to the many customers she served with love and dedication as a manager at Cowboy Cleaners for many years. There, she was more than an employee; she was family.

Robin’s life was a tapestry woven with love and cherished memories—a beacon for those who knew her. She held dear the simple pleasures of life, like making candy with her aunt during Christmas, moments steeped in tradition and sweetness that remain forever etched in the hearts of those who shared them. Quiet porch times with her were treasured instances where stories were told and bonds deepened, reflecting the gentle spirit that defined her.

Her personality radiated a profound love for family and friends. Her grandchildren were undoubtedly the light of her life, her heart beating strongest for Tripp, Aryanna, Arabella, Konner, Audrey, Colter, and Bowen Graham. Robin was a collector—not just of earrings and “hey dudes” but of memories, friendships, and joyous moments. She delighted in playing cards and eagerly anticipated her yearly girl trips, which forged lifelong memories with close friends who will forever hold her spirit dear. Her passion for shopping, particularly for turquoise treasures and thrifting, showcased her vibrant and joyful approach to life, always finding beauty and excitement in garage sales and hidden gems.

Robin's loving family remains a testament to her enduring legacy. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Heather Johnson, and her husband John Haas Campbell; her son, Michael Chase Taylor, along with his wife Shelbie; her brother, James Michael Riley; and her sister, Leigh Ann Riley. These family members, along with numerous extended loving family and friends, carry forward the love and light she so generously gave.

Robin is reunited in Heaven with loved ones she held close in life: her beloved husband, Bowen "Scooter" Leonard Taylor, with whom she now dances among the stars; her parents, James Ivy Riley and Lomie Elizabeth Latham Riley; and her grandson, Mann Louis Green. Though her physical presence has left this world, the spirit and love she shared continue to live on vibrantly in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc., located at 40847 TX-105 Batson, TX 77519, on May 9, 2026. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Britanie Fields officiating. This time will honor Robin’s beautiful life with stories, laughter, and tears, a fitting tribute to a woman whose love was as enduring as it was deep.

Robin Carol Taylor’s journey through this life may have reached its gentle end, but the love, kindness, and joy she sowed will forever bloom in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy is one of warmth, resilience, and boundless affection, a shining light that guides those she left behind toward comfort and hope.
