Robert Randel LeNormand II, 58, of Batson, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born in Liberty, Texas on November 27, 1965, to the late Robert Randel LeNormand and Freda Vanya.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Batson, Texas. He embraced life fully and found joy in various interests. Robert was an avid hunter, fisher, gardening, and riding horses. He truly was a good hardworking man who only wanted to be in the rice fields are horseback working cattle. If Robert was on his horse or on his tractor, he was a happy man. He loved and cherished times with his grandkids who made him very proud. Robert will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by parents; and son, Brandon Dagle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gwen Dagle LeNormand; son, Lance LeNormand and wife Teri of Batson, Texas; daughter, Brittnee Sherwood and husband Eli of St. Charles, Missouri; sisters, Patti Blackwell of Hardin, Texas, Vicki Whiteside of Waco, Texas and Linda Valentine of Shepherd, Texas; daughter-in- law, Misty Hendrix; grandchildren, Kymber Dagle, Brett LeNormand, Sydni LeNormand, Kai Hendrix, Mileigh Sherwood, Mattalyn Sherwood, Avry Sherwood, Theodore Sherwood and Elliot Sherwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Serving the family as pallbearers are Bruce Lockhart, Jesse Hughes, James Shirley, Trey Deckert, Jason Price, and William Price. Honorary pallbearers are Lance LeNormand, Brett LeNormand, Dustin Dagle and Brandon Dagle.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 9:00 am-10:00 am at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am officiated by Pastor Josh Alpers and message by Felisha Worthy. Interment to follow at Guedry Cemetery, Batson, Texas.
