Ralph Louis Schubert, 80, of Cleveland, TX, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. Mr. Schubert was born on November 29, 1939, in Houston, TX to the late Gustovis C. Schubert and Hazel Kathleen Schubert. He was a retired skilled carpenter for Brown and Root Construction and was great in his wood workmanship. Mr. Schubert was an all-around good man with the biggest heart. He never met a stranger, always seeing the good in people. He loved animals, especially dogs, and birds but above all else, Papa loved his family and was most proud of his grandchildren, they meant the world to him. He made sure to be supportive of their activities. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Mr. Schubert is preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Charles Schubert; brother, Paul Schubert; and sister, Doris Cude.

Those left to cherish Mr. Schubert's memory are his sons; Tommy Schubert and wife Diane of Timpson, TX, and Terry Schubert and wife Regina of Tarkington, TX; daughter, Tracy Schubert of Spring, TX; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends

A service of remembrance will be held Monday, June 8, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Pastor Brad Dancer officiating, interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, TX.

Honoring Mr. Schubert as pallbearers are Truitt Schubert, Tyler Schubert, Bradley Post, Trevor Schubert, Chance Hickman, Bailey Welcome and Travis Schubert.

As I sit here an think of alll the years we was lucky to have you in our lives I believe every memory is a great one an always a story to them I remember every birthday that I have had you have either been at the house or I got that phone call from you ..... you have been to every gathering we have had. Christmas,Easter,Thanksgiving, birthdays alll games an every show my kids showed in You loved to help with the Longhorns you really loved talking to the (The Coats ) you loved hearing about their cattle an you shared stories about our cows And we never left you behind every Friday right before our kids got home you was pulling in the driveway for the weekend ready to jump in on whatever we had going on ,,,, you have seen all our kids graduate except one but she an I was up there telling you alll about how it was gonna go an then how it turned out an showing you allll the pictures we never wanna leave you out of anything you loved to be apart of .......these last few months was so special to me getting to talk an help you was the best memories I will never forget.I think it was so funny when you did something that you wasn’t suppose to do , the nurses would call me an I’d say tell him you talk to me an he’s gonna get it when I get up to see him an he would tell them oh no she’s gonna get me ! Knowing good well I loved him an always wanted best for him ,,,,,,, we love you Pawpaw an will see you again Your up there chatting with my daddy I’m sure ❤️

I have so many wonderful memories of summer vacations spent at your house. Watching the adults play cards and bugging y'all until you would teach me how to play too. Thank you for be such a wonderful uncle. I know that you are reunited with all of your loved ones who have gone before you. I love you and will miss you.
