A Life Remembered
Obituary
Peggy Ann Rawlinson passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and faith. Born on March 14, 1952, to Jarvis and Anna Mae Stovall, Peggy lived a life marked by resilience, warmth, and an ever-present desire to show God’s love to others.
Peggy’s life journey was one of service and transformation. She worked as both a substance abuse counselor and a hairstylist — two professions that reflected her deep care for people and her gift for helping others feel seen, understood, and loved. Through her own struggles and triumphs, she found a lasting path of peace and compassion, inspiring many to keep smiling through the ache of adversity.
She is survived by her devoted sons, John Cook and Jason Cook; her beloved daughters-in-law, Melissa Cook and Desiree Cook; and her cherished grandchildren, Gabby, Isaac, Eric, Bridget, and Elliot Cook. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Rawlinson, and her parents, Jarvis and Anna Mae.
