Patricia "Patty" Faye Roberts

Patricia “Patty” Roberts, 75, of Liberty, Texas, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on September 14, 2026, in Liberty, Texas. She was born on November 3, 1950, in Liberty, Texas, to Marvin Winfred Walters and Lottie Duhon Walters.

Patty dedicated more than 34 years of her life to Hardin ISD, where she served as both a secretary and a librarian. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of many students, families, and colleagues and was a valued member of the school community.

Beyond her professional life, Patty had a deep love for quilting and sewing. Her passion was evident in the dedicated quilting room in her home, filled with her equipment, projects, and many of her beautiful creations. After retirement, she enjoyed antiquing with her beloved husband, Jerry.

Above all, Patty treasured her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love for her family, her generous spirit, and the memories she created with those around her will be cherished for generations to come.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ray Roberts; her parents, Marvin Winfred Walters and Lottie Duhon Walters; her brothers, Marshall Walters and Marvin Walters; and her sister, Peggy Bearden.

She is survived by her loving children, Adam Roberts and wife, Brandy, and Anna Roberts and husband, Mike Tristan. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Farmer and wife, Olivia; Russ Jordan and wife, Mandy; Jesse Jordan and wife, Amy; Seth Roberts; Sarah Roberts; and Emma Roberts.

Patty was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Daisy Jordan, Elliott Jordan, Jase Jordan, Paisley Jordan, Bryson Farmer, Savannah Farmer, and Parker Farmer.

She is also survived by her brothers, Randy Walters and wife, Inez, and Robert Walters and wife, Lynn; and her sisters, Wynette Walters and Judene Crocker, along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM with Pastor Tim Delahoussaye officiating. Graveside services will follow at Moss Hill Cemetery.

Honoring Patty as pallbearers are Jacob Farmer, Russ Jordan, Jesse Jordan, Seth Roberts, Adam Roberts and Randy Walters.

Patty will be remembered for her caring heart, creative spirit, devotion to her family, and the love she shared so freely with others. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
