Nancy Morse Ledgerwood was one of the most precious women I have ever known. When I married Alf Flowers(Nancy's brother "Sugs"), she welcomed me to the family and called me "sister." It meant the world to me. A beautiful person, devoted friend, loving sister, and one who recognized the good in every person she met, Nancy will always be in my heart. I have never known a kinder, sweeter lady. Alf and I will miss Nancy so much. We treasured our frequent Tuesday lunches with her at Dairy Queen -- it was always a special day because we shared it with Nancy, Gilbert, Corkey, and David. I felt uplifted after every visit with Nancy. She was just one of those people who knew how to make others laugh, smile, and feel good about themselves. Not long ago she sent me a card that said "All you need is a hug." I have that card in a prominent place so I can see it every day. Nancy, you will always be in my heart to give me the hug I need. Thank you for being a darling sister and wonderful friend. "Debbie Lynne" Hollister (Mrs. Alf Flowers, Jr.)

I did not personally know her but wish I had at least got to meet her. She looks like Aunt Helen. Beautiful, and from what I do know was just as sweet.
