I remember coming to Aunt Melba's and Uncle Monk when I was a very young girl. Riding horses and seeing all the cows-it was always a fun time and she was always very good to me I remember her laughing a lot and not being afraid to scold you if you needed it I haven't been close to her and the family since I grew up and had my own kids and grandkids but I will never forget her Linda

Wonderful fond memories of Melba. Dale (her brother)loved her so much and he would to tell me stories of how great she was to him when he was in college. He said she would slip $100 bills in his pocket for his college expenses every time he saw her. She was fun to be around with her witty and frank character. You always knew where you stood with her because of her honesty and she kept you in stitches with laughter. When she comes to mind, it makes me smile. She loved her children and so proud of her grandchildren! My condolences to all you, we loved her even though we did not get to spend a lot of time with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
