Mark Wayne Barber of Mauriceville, Texas died December 27, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. He was 63.

Graveside service was held on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lee Barber, father, Sidney R. Barber, mother, Reitha Jean Blankenship and stepfather Morley Craig Blankenship.

He is survived by his daughter, Mandy Barber DeRoach of Houston, brothers, Michael Anthony Barber of Vidor, and Reverend Donald R. Barber and wife Patricia of Vidor, and half-brother, Terry Patrick Blankenship of Spurger. Half-sister, Odethela Rene McKinley of Pineland.
