85, of Honey Island, died Thursday April 25, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was born in Saratoga, Tx. on October 10, 1927 to Mac Erlon Collins Sr and Johnnie Jay Welch and had lived in the Hardin county area for over 30 years and was Oilfield Equipment Salesman for many years before retiring and was also a U.S Army veteran. He is survived by his wife for over 60 years Bessie Page Collins of Honey Island; sons, Mac Erlon Collins III and wife Cindy of Mt. Enterpise, Philip Burton Collins of LaPorte. Daughter LaDonna ' Dee' Collins of Honey Island, and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Cremation service under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services.
