Lyndia Annette Nelson

Lyndia Annette Nelson, 74, of Houston, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas. Lyndia was born on May 12, 1948 to the late W.C. Means and Bertha Elizabeth Jones in Houston, Texas. She was an accountant for Non Ferrous Threaded Products for many years. Lyndia loved her family, and looked forward to the family dinners she shared with them. She enjoyed road trips, and on occasions road trips to the casinos. She loved her birds and her dog, Lexi. Lyndia will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Lyndia is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Means; nephew, Wendall Means; nieces, Catherine Means, Lyndia Means; nephew-in-law, Marshall Boyd; sister-in-law, Janet Mead-Means.

Those left to cherish her memory are George Nelson of Houston, Texas; brother, Charles W. Means of Avinger, Texas;sister-in-law, Diane Marie Means of Hardin, Texas; nieces, Tiffanie Boyd-Kunkle and husband Dan of Baytown, Texas, Lea Means-Moore and husband Jarred of Hunble, Texas; great niece, Brittney Boyd- Gardovsky and husband Clayton pf Rosenberg, Texas; nephew, Robert "Spook" Means and wife Sylvia of Frankston, Texas; great nephew, Wyatt Moore, also many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at VFW Post 5621 1520 N. Main St. Liberty, Texas 77575.

Cremation under the direction of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc.

Lyndia and I have been friends for many years. But for the last 3 years she has been more than a friend, she was the best sister-in-law I could have asked for. I am so glad that she and Ronnie passed so closely together, so they can make their heavenly journey together.
