Lucille was an active and devoted member of Porter Apostolic Church. She loved God and God loved her. One of mom's passions was to work in her yard and plant different types of greenery. She will be truly missed by her loving daughter and family.

I remember when the first time we visited after you moved to Eunice. Uncle Bruce had had a heart attack and you had just moved. We arrived way after dark on a Saturday night. Supper was waiting on us. The adults sat up and visited and Sandra and I went to bed on pallets on the floor. Mom and Dad had a bed. About 2 am, a big light was flashing on the wall and a train laid down on its horn. Daddy jumped up and took off running and smacked into the wall. We thought it was so funny. Latter on I thought it was every man for their self. Now I realize it was PTSD. I remember the best thing that Aunt Celle cooked for me was Crawfish Etouffee. As a grown up, Aunt Celle would always call to see how you were. Clayton

Sweet Sister Mac. When you were unable to attend church service, every two-four weeks, you would call and check up on the new Pastor and Pastor’s wife, always explaining that you would be there if you could! Your Pastor and church family are going to miss you greatly. ❤️

Our family has many fond memories of growing up next door to Granny Lucille, Bro Bruce, and Melyne. Our Mom, Bonnie Aucoin, was best friends with Granny Lucille and every afternoon Mom traveled the dirt worn out path between the houses next door to visit. A cold glass of tea was always waiting for her. They baked pies together for many youth events at our church, held banquets with formal meals at her dining table for our church youth group and Granny Lucille taught our Sunday School class. She loved serving the Lord and working in His kingdom. She will be missed but never forgotten. She had lots of saints of God waiting for her on the heavenly shores of heaven and I hope the Lord let her make everyone a cold glass of her special sweet tea. This was a picture of their last earthly visit before Mom passed away, but their earthly bodies now rest next to one another in Mt Calvary until the great resurrection day. Love you Granny Lucille. Love Banessa, Pam, and Randy Aucoin
