Lois Mae Rhodes

1928 ∼ 2017

of Houston, formerly of Saratoga, died on Saturday November 4, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Houston. She was 89.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday November 9, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, with Reverend Lee Gruver officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson. A reception for family and friends will follow after service at 8001 N. Travis Street Liberty, Texas 77575.

Serving as pallbearers are Adam Lightfoot, Russell Laing, Brian Laing, Marshall Lightfoot, John Lightfoot, David Laing, Noah DeLaSierra, and Rudy DeLaSierra.

A native of Prairie Lee, TX she had lived in Houston, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Nickells, and Ora Mae Walker and brother, Bryan Nickells.

She is survived by her son, Scott Mann and wife JoAnn Best Mann of Smith Point, TX., Step-son, Tommy Reynolds and wife Sandy of Mauriceville, TX., Daughters, Karen Mann Lightfoot and husband John of Houston, and Kathy Mann Laing and husband David of Houston. Brother, Scotty Nickells and wife Wava of Ohio, and sister, Inez Shivers and husband Lonnie of Liberty. Grandchildren: 4 Great-Grandchildren: 6.
