Linda Gayle McDaniels, 66, of Daisetta, died on Monday, January 2, 2017 at her residence. Gayle was born December 01, 1950 to George Cooper Jr and Bonnie Fregia in Dayton, TX and was a security guard most of her life, then worked for Hull-Daisettta ISD, and Wal-Mart.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing card games, dominoes, and entertaining friends. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Daisetta most of her life, where she was a part of the choir and enjoyed singing.
A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 6th, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Central Baptist Church of Daisetta, 104 Red Bud Rd, Daisetta, with Reverend Leslie Gaines officiating. Cremation to follow.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 6th, 2017 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Central Baptist Church of Daisetta.
She is preceded in death by her father George Cooper Jr, stepfather, Howard Stengler, and husband Herb McDaniels Sr .
Survivors left to cherish memories are mother, Bonnie Stengler; sisters, Cheryl Broom and Carol Holder; brothers, David Cooper and wife Sylvia, and Tracy Stengler; step-daughter, Helen Rubio; step-son, Herb McDaniels Jr and wife Meli; uncle Duayne Cooper; cousin Paula Cooper, and her companion and caretaker of 28 years, Michael Harrison, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
