Linda Lea Granger

1949 ∼ 2014

Linda Lea Granger, 65, of Liberty, went to be with our Lord and Savior Monday June 23, 2014. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She lived a life dedicated to the Lord. She was a licensed cosmetologist for 45 years. She was a giver. She could always make people laugh. When she loved you, you knew you were loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Granger and Velma Granger Desormeaux; great nephew, Jeremy Thomas; uncle, Gene Broussard.

She is survived by her daughters, Misty Dawn Abalos and husband Frank of Winnie and Michelle Vaughn and husband of Millard of Douglas, TX; grandchildren, Autumn Bertrand and husband Taylor of Winnie, Leah Abalos of Winnie, Justin Vaughn of Douglas and Jaydon Vaughn of Douglas; great grandchild Emma Taylor Bertrand of Winnie; step-dad, Francis Desormeaux of Anahuac; sisters, Georgene Grounds of Corsicana, Judy Compton of Hardin and Lisa Ruddick and husband Kenneth of LaPorte; aunt, Beulah Broussard of Florida; nieces and nephews, Tammy Kay Manuel of Hardin, Wayne Olin Manuel of Washington, Jessica Dequent and husband Zach of LaPorte, Brandy Morace of Beaumont, Greg Ruddick of Wichita Falls, Mike Ruddick of Washington, Kimberly Sullivan of Austin, great nephew, Jaret Thomas of Hardin, great niece, Loren Manuel and numerous great nieces and great nephews and other family.

Her family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services Thursday June 26, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A service of remembrance is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday June 27 , 2014 at Faith and Family Funeral Services, officiated by Reverend Gideon Watson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Abalos, Millard Vaughn, Jaret Thomas, Kenneth Ruddick, Zachary Dequent, Taylor Bertrand and A.C. Manuel.
