Lillian Rosalie Palmer

Lillian Rosalie Palmer, 101, of Tomball formally of Hull, passed away Wednesday January 22, 2014. She was born August 26, 1912. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hull. She enjoyed hunting and area rodeos. She and her husband ran a ranch and she also worked for as a secretary for Texaco in an office out of the railroad depot of Hull. She was a woman who lived a full life and saw many changes.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Palmer; parents, Sam and Lillie Pearl Finklea; brother, Floyd Finklea and grandson, Kevin Daigle.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Carolyn Daigle of Tomball; brother, L.G. Finklea; grandchildren Debbie Freeman and husband Gary of Tomball; niece, Gaylon Finklea Hecker and husband Marvin of Austin; great grandchildren, Aaron Freeman and wife Debbie of The Woodlands, Ashley Peterson of Dallas; great great grandson, Carter Freeman of The Woodlands.

A service of remembrance is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 25, 2014 at Faith and Family Funeral Services, officiated by Reverend Russell Kaemmerling. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.

I have such fond memories of Mrs Lillian growing up in Hull. She was always, sweet, kind, and most of always came across as interested in me individually. I'm sure she made everyone feel the same way.
