Lester Charles Holder, 54, of Kountze, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont with his family by his side.
Lester was born on June 29, 1964, in Liberty, TX to Jimmy Charles Holder and Zeda Young Holder. Lester worked in the Oilfield for most of his life and in his spare time, he enjoyed playing the guitar, drums, and listening to his music. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan and loved his animals, being outdoors, and reminiscing about the 'good old days'.
Lester is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Charles Holder.
Those left to cherish his memory are; mother, Zeda Rae Holder-Shackelford, brother, Jimmy Ray Holder and partner Darrell Kilcrease of Lumberton, sisters, Mary Brottem and husband Dennis of Kountze, Bertha Templet and husband Mike of Kountze, Crystal Bingham and husband Danny of Kountze, and Cricket Dear and husband Danny of Lumberton; nieces and nephews, Megan Brottem, Kaci Glover and husband Adam, Drew Templet and wife Hannah, Garrett Templet, Dakota Bingham and wife Adreanna, Lane Bingham, Ranson Bingham, Donovan Dear, and Kain Dear; great-nieces and nephews, Kaston Templet, Bella Glover, Ady Lou Bingham, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of loving friends.
A service of remembrance will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc with Pastor Laurie Smith officiating, cremation will follow. A gathering of Lester's family and friends will be Sunday, November 25, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc.
