My grandaddy was the best man I have ever known... He was always honest and was a hard worker! He believed that your word meant everything! And if you didn't keep yourword then you weren't much of nothing! He had the most amazing faith and he loved God so much... He taught me just about everything there is to know! He always answered my questions with much wisdom! He never gave up and refused to be helped to much cuz he always believed he could do anything by himself! It may have taken him a few days or hours or even weeks to figure out a way... But u can bet he would figure it out! I am blessed to have had him all of my almost 39 years :) My memories consist of his advice, his constant drive and leadership, and all of our times in the garden or in the yard working... And that tractor time him and I spent together was the best! His stories were amazing and his wisdom was absolutely heart filling! I love you my sweet grandaddy! More than anyone or anybody :) I know your dancing with Jesus!!!!! Save a dance for me..

I HAVE SO MANY SWEET MEMORIES OF MY UNCLE LEROY. ONE OF MY FIRST MEMORIES OF HIM WAS WHEN I WAS 3 OR 4 YRS. OLD, SITTING AT THE TABLE ON A BENCH BESIDE HIM AT THE OLD WELLS HOUSE, EATING PEANUT BUTTER & SYRUP WITH BISCUITS. WHEN I WAS 4 YRS OLD HE CARRIED ME TO ALTO,TX. FOR A PERMANENT WAVE IN MY LITTLE STRAIGHT HAIR. HE WANTED ME TO HAVE SHIRLEY TEMPLE CURLS. ON THE WAY HE WOULD SING & I THOUGHT HE HAD SUCH A PRETTY VOICE! IN LATER YEARS I WOULD GO TO VISIT HIM & PEEWEE & THE BOYS, & HAD SUCH FUN. HE & PEEWEE WERE SUCH FUN PEOPLE TO BE WITH. I KNOW HEAVEN IS A HAPPY PLACE WITH THEM THERE!!!
