Larry Joe Hicks of Vidor, Texas passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was 84. Larry was born July 9, 1935, in Beaumont, Texas to Harry Thomas Hicks Sr. and Emily Loden.

He was a janitor for Vidor Independent School District for many years and had lived in Vidor most of his life. He was a member of Woodcrest United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Beau Hicks and Wayne Hicks. Sisters, Joyce Monteau and Sandra Jackson, and Margaret Jones. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends. Cremation under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc.
