Kevin Allen Fregia, 23, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Batson, Texas. He was born on March 2, 2001, to Rodney Fregia and Tracey Smith in Baytown Texas.
Kevin is preceded in death by his Nana, Velma Funderburk and Papa, Michael Smith. He is survived by his Father and wife, Rodney Fregia and Ashley Kahl; his mother, Tracey Smith; brothers, Sean Smith, Grayson Gibson, and wife Jaci Gibson, Jack Gibson; Grandpa, Robert Fregia and Granny, Pamela Doucette; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him very much.
Kevin was the epitome of God’s love. Kevin’s entire life was an example of how to love. He loved his family and friends wholeheartedly and seldom met a stranger. He loved all the little babies and kids that he met, and they adored him. He forgave quickly and loved unconditionally. Though he had his mischievous side, as most 23-year-olds do, he was kind, generous, funny, honest, and forgiving. The best times in his life were spending time with his buddies, that he considered brothers, and family time. You could not meet Kevin and not love him. He had a smile that could light up a room and even when he was mad or sad he couldn’t hide his sweet soul.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Blake Bloss, Colton Allison, Heath Ard, Landyn Sellers, Jacob Ojeda, and Justin Denton. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Campbell and Jack Gibson.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 5:00pm-8pm at New Life Church (42493 TX-105, Batson, TX). Funeral Service will begin on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm officiated by Pastor Bill Campbell at New Life Church Private interment to follow. Reception will be at 12:00 pm before the funeral.
