There is a memory I'd like to share about Ken. My name is Jeanette and I was a neighbor of Ken and Kimmi many many years ago on Shady Lane. One bright and sunny morning I walked out to my garbage cans that were already parked at the curb to put in some helium balloons that were left over from my daughter, Lyndsey's birthday party. I lifted the lid and attempted to shove the balloons in. As I would somehow manage to shove 3 in, 2 more would pop up...they were still filled with helium. I would say I struggled with getting all 3 balloons in, but just couldn't manage it, without one or 2 popping back up before I could replace the lid. After a few minutes, Ken walked outside and hollered, "Jeanette, if you will just pop those balloons, they will go right in".... Of course we laughed and laughed about that. That's the memory I have each and every time I have thought about Ken since that day. He was a good-hearted, funny man! I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him! Rest in Peace my good man. Jeanette Blake

It was agreat blessing to see Kenny and Kemmy walk into the sanctuary of Heights Baptist Church each Sunday, knowing that Kenny did not feel up to being there. His love for Jesus Christ and the desire to fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ brought him in with a smile on his face and a loving heart. His faithful commitment to Christ was truly a blessing to each of us. We will miss you but we know we will see you again someday. Our prayers are with the family. Nan and Jim Daniels
