Judy had an extensive family of Rulons that live in Georgia and Florida. She was so dear to us. Judy was instrumental in bringing us all together years ago. That reunion and gatherings that followed these past years have been such a blessing. Judy and I would joke about her being 3 months older than me. Jack and my husband were also the same age. We knew of her passing but not the service. For her family, please know how much we loved her and will miss her terribly. Her love was big enough to include all of us. You would have to look long and hard to find a friend as loving and caring as Judy. She always has a hug and a smile to brighten your day. And her laugh was wonderfully contagious. We will really miss her. We offer our condolences to all family and friends.

Went to school with Judy and she was always a fair and kind person. Lost track after school but knew she married Jack and lived not far from my Mom. May her family find peace and know she is at peace now.

Kent Brown would have been devastated that Judy left his family so quickly after he departed. He had high regard and respect for her and the position she held in her family. I didn't know her well, but my respect to her for a life well lived. Rest in peace Judy.

Judy and I have been best friends for over 50 years, she was my sister as close as we were. We were immediate best friends, she even married my brother for a while. After they divorced and she and Jack got married my husband and I were very best friends with her and Jack for all of these years. I have a deep hole in my heart today and for the rest of my life. We will miss and love her forever, along with the rest of her family. Love Rose and Gene Glover ( Pearl River, LA )

I attended covenant House for four where Mrs Judy taught children’s church for many years. I often brought my grandchildren, Addison and Jacob, with me. Their mom, my daughter, sadly was not living for the Lord. Over the course of 10 years I would attend to other churches with my grandchildren. One was a very large church in Beaumont and one was a rather large church in Liberty. These bigger churches had all the bells and whistle‘s and blowup slides you could imagine. But when I realized Holy Spirit was was beginning another change in churches I wanted to focus on one it would meet their needs the most. I asked him which church, of all the churches, they enjoyed the most. Without missing a beat they said, “the one by the Cannon.“ Which was Covenant House and Mrs Judy. They loved Mrs Judy. She planted seeds of the Word of God in them that will grow throughout their lives. I was thinking about that this week and the Holy Spirit gave me a picture of a huge field of sunflowers like you see near Fort Worth. He said every year the seeds grow and beautiful sunflowers bloom, they create more seeds that will grow the next year. Like so many of the amazing things she did in her life, the seeds she planted in all those children will grow and bloom and bear more seed for all eternity. My granddaughter and grandson, sadly, were moved over 1000 miles away by their mother in spring of 2019. It was a devastating time for me. Judy would always ask me about them and tell me she was praying for them. Other than a few friends, I knew of no one else that was praying for my grand children. But I know she loved them And prayed for them. And I know it made the difference. To say she will be missed is such an understatement. But I have great Hope and comfort knowing that she has joined the, “great cloud of witnesses” that will be watching and cheering us all on from Heaven. Joan “Lori” Brohawn
