Joyce Alline Danford, 77, of Thicket, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Encounter Church of Votaw, with Reverend Jason Berry and Phil Love, officiating. Interment will follow at Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Encounter Church.
A native of Ace, Texas she had lived in Thicket, 15 years and had worked at Walmart as a Department Manager for 25 years. She attended Encounter Church of Votaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Marion Goodwin and Elsie Henson; husband Danny Danford; brother Beamon Goodwin; and nephew Kenny Sloane.
Survivors are her daughter Kimberly Bush and husband Steven of Hardin; brother Cecil Goodwin and wife Patty of Liberty; sister Fran Disotell and husband Red of Rye. Grandson Klint Daniel Bush and wife Shayla of Hardin; granddaughter Kelly Allyne Bush of Denver, CO; great-granddaughter Avylane Scarlette Bush of Hardin. Nephews, James Sloane and wife Deborah, David Goodwin and wife Lisa. Nieces, Misty Fincher, Kathy Nelson and husband David, Sherry Goodwin. Great-niece, Ashley Nelson and great-nephews Eric Nelson and Kade Goodwin.
