Joyce Faye Barnhart, 70, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 23, 1949, in Anahuac, TX to the late Martin Luther Land and Bertie Gresham.

Mrs. Barnhart loved her family, children, and her grandchildren. She was loved by everyone that knew her and talked to her. She loved to collect things and loved to go to a garage sale. While she was sitting at home she enjoyed creating plastic canvasses, making a chicken salad to snack on, and crunching on Sonic ice.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Barnhart; brothers, Roland Land, Tommy Land, and Luther Land; and sisters, Rose Mary Land, Linda Smith, and Barbara Thomas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons; Shelton Burch Jr and wife Jamie of Liberty, and Raymond Horn Jr of San Antonio; daughters, Belinda Burch of Crosby, Laura White and husband Travis of Baytown, and Joyce Fredrick and husband Michael of Kountze; brother, Timmy Land and wife Linda of Liberty; sisters, Judy Harryman and husband Willie of Liberty, and Diana Burch and husband Dennis of Liberty; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

A service of remembrance will be Monday, September 30, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Bibleway Pentecostal Church in Liberty with Reverend Donald Scott officiating, interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. A gathering of Mrs. Barnhart's family and friends will be Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc.

Honoring Mrs. Barnhart as pallbearers will be S.J. Burch, Michael Fredricks, Trey LaFrance, Keith Strham, Kevin Strham, and Brooke Edmonds. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Burch Sr and Jackie Presnull.
