I knew Joey & his family through the MDA summer camp & clinic. Joey always had so much fun at Camp. There he had an awesome counselor Johnny Martinez that treated him with Love & Respsct. Prayers go out to the Olson family. Joey you will be missed.

My prayers go out to the Olson family, I met Joey years ago as his camp counselor with MDA summer camp. Joey and I were friends from camp, he was such a joy to be with during those 5 summers we spent at MDA camp. I remember Joey as being a shy kid that first summer, but he tried really hard to participate in all the activities and he had a great time being at camp, especially at the pool and at the dances, we both had a great time. I will always remember how the years went by and seeing this young man grow up every summer, he was really an awesome kid and I really was so proud to call him my friend. Steve I want to thank you and your wife for allowing Joey to come to summer camp all those years and for allowing me to become a part of his life, he sure made a difference in mine, will never forget him. God bless you and your family as you go through this difficult time, may he wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you. Rest in peace Joey. Johnny Martinez Snook, Texas
