87, of Hardin, died on Wednesday December 17, 2014 at St. Luke's Woodlands Hospital with his loving family by his side. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday December 19, 2014 at 2:00P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel, with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow at Hardin chapel cemetery. The family will be recieving friends on Thursday December 18, 2014 from 5:00P.M. until 8;00P.M. at Faith & Family.Jeff was born July 2, 1927 to John Vanya and Macy Martin, Mr Vanya was a self employed Oilfield Pumper. He had lived in Hardin for 81 years, he was also a member of Hardin Baptist church. He was preceded in death by brother; J.M. Vanya, sisters; Gertrude Allen and marie Vanys. Survivors are his wife of 59 years Frances Marie Stinnett Vanya of Hardin, sons; John J. Vanya Jr. and wife Christie of Hardin, and James R. Vanya of Houston. Daughter; Kathy Harris, brother; Bill Vanya of Jennings, LA. Grandchildren; Amanda Patton, Tiffany Pennington. Great grandchildren; Jake Jones, Zane Jones, and Luke Patton.
