John Marshall Stein, 61, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012. He was a great musician. He could play any instrument with strings, especially the guitar. He enjoyed motorcycles and hot rods. He loved racing his 2003 Mustang. Eventually his cremated remains will be scattered in the Height Ashbury area of San Francisco.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Stein of San Antonio; brothers, Allan Stein of Dayton, Bob Stein of Austin; niece, Debbie Stein of Austin; nephews, Allan Stein of Baytown and Rocky Buras of Dayton.
