John Wesley Stanley

John Wesley Stanley, a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on April 28, 1961, in Liberty, Texas, John lived a life marked by his loving nature, unwavering kindness, and a genuine belief in the goodness of others.

In his early years, John devoted himself to a career in the oilfield, where he became known for his hard work and dedication. Beyond his professional life, he cherished the moments spent outdoors, embracing hobbies such as fishing and hunting. He found immense joy in spending time with family and friends, always welcoming those around him with a warm smile and open heart.

John's personality was one of giving and caring traits that endeared him to everyone who crossed his path. He possessed a rare ability to see the best in people, often believing in them even when they struggled to believe in themselves. This remarkable quality not only defined his relationships but also left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Jean Stanley of Saratoga, Texas; his loving daughter, Tonya Stanley DeLaney, and her husband, Keith; his brothers, Vernon L. Smith and his wife, Tina, and Michael W. Stanley and his wife, Karen, all from Saratoga, Texas; his sister, Matilda Jo'an Stanley Durham, of Silsbee, Texas. As we remember John Wesley Stanley, we celebrate a life filled with love, compassion, and an enduring belief in the goodness of humanity. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched, forever cherished, and remembered.
