1969 ∼ 2019

Joe Lee Tousha

Joe Lee Tousha, 50, of Liberty, left this life to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his many dear friends and loving family. Joe was born on September 3, 1969, in Liberty, TX to Joe Willard Tousha and Agnes Marie Anderson. In his 50 years of life, Joe accomplished many things. As a little boy, he always loved to play with trucks. He dreamed of driving big trucks. He fullfilled that dream for over 20 years on the road traveling from place to place for various companies. His latest job, at Lone Star NGL in Mont Belvieu, as a storage operator, was a dream come true. Finally he was able to get off the road and spend more time with his kids and precious wife, Connie. He also enjoyed many hobbies that included fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting and most of all, yard work. He took pride in making sure his lawn was in pristine condition. Joe had a huge heart. Everyone that knew him, could see that from the beginning. He was a part of several ministries and traveled with his wife as much as he could. He loved riding his motorcycle and was a part of the St. Judes Toy Drive that blessed the children battling brain cancer. Joe was known by many names, Uncle Bubba, Papa Joe, Pastor Joe and in his younger years, Jody. But most of all, he loved being called, Dad. Joe was a hard working man. Always providing, loving, kind hearted and gentle. Always there to give you a big hug. He loved his lord and savior and grew closer and closer to his lord everyday. We will all miss him very much but know his legacy will continue on. We will get that big hug when we see him again in heaven.

He is preceded in death by uncles, James R. Anderson, Leroy Anderson and grandparents, Velma Anderson, Oscar Anderson, J.L. Tousha, Pat Garrison and Ada Garrison.

I worked with Joe for 8 years! He was the guy everyone should have been. He loved the Lord and is family first and foremost. When all guys were talking regular “plant talk” he also rose above or walked out. The Lord took a great one this time. Always smiling, even when he was upset and his face was red, never a foul word or ability to listen. I’m so very sorry for his family, please know his life revolved around them. One of the best good old country boy around. May God comfort you all!!
