We lost a very dear family member yesterday. Our hearts are broken. Robin was a very special friend as well as family. He was there to lift you up when you were down. Always joking about something. His heart was filled with so much love for his friends and especially his family. He cherished his love for his wife, Margie and his children and grandchildren. He loved talking about them. He's going to be missed by so many people but yet rejoicing with his friends and loved ones in Heaven. I know he's already got that guitar out and having a good time, no more pain and suffering. Going to miss you Robin. Just remember how much we all loved you. Brenda and Buddy Slankard

Still in shock. My heart goes out to Margie & family. I had no better friend. In my darkest times, Robin was there for me. We shared music in a special way. He could realy play guitar like no one else I ever picked with. I know the folks in Heaven rejoiced when he was added to the band. Margie, thank you for sharing Robin & loving him like you do. May God bless & comfort all the family!

I loved making music with Robin! What a soft-spoken, gifted musician Robin was! Our paths crossed at random times over the decades and he left precious memories with those of us who knew him. To Marge, to Robin’s children and extended family, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days and months. Go rest high, Robin. You fought a good fight. Marge, I will contact you when we get back to TX.

Very saddened to hear of Robin's passing from this life. We played football together in 1973, and worked together for a time in 1999. Lost contact with him over the years, but he was the type of person you don't forget, and that in a good way. My prayers to the family during this time of loss. When the world loses good people, we all become poorer. May God bless and comfort the family during this time. Robert Coward
