I met Jerry in 2003 when I started at Sam's. He was always so light hearted and full of information. He could brighten your mood and was always there to help if you needed it. Loved this man, there are no words to describe how wonderful he was. Heaven gained another Angel.

I would like for Jerry's family to know that I only knew Jerry casually, but for a very long time. I think it was that way for many of my schoolmates who enjoyed going to Top Burger, 'hanging out' for a while, and looking forward to going back again real soon. I think Jerry knew most of the local kids & young adults from all around the area, and he treated them like friends. Thank you, Jerry, for all you gave to the community.

I remember Jerry fondly. He always had a smile on his face, and just made your day. He made the best burgers and would often give me a free ice cream cone. He will be missed dearly. I loved going to the Top Burger!

Very sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. Didn't know his last name - just knew him as Jerry. He was a very personable friend to all his customers. He bought his ground meat from my dad, Bob, at Minimax. He didn't know my first name so he called me Little Bob. I liked that and think of him fondly whenever Top Burger is mentioned. So sorry to hear of his passing. I remember when Jerry had a hot dog stand before Top Burger even. Best hot dogs any where. He was always quick with a smile. Always kind. The type person we should all strive to be. Rest In Peace sir. To the family, my condolences.

Many a fond memory of Jerry. My first husband, Lefty Simons, worked for him at Top Burger and I worked for him and Amos at Catfish Inn. My son worked with him at Sam's. Anytime Jerry was around you were gonna laugh or smile. May he rest in peace and I pray comfort for all his family.
