Mr. Freeman was one of the first lawmen I had direct contact with as a kid and I was always excited to see him. As the Game Warden for Arizona Creek Wildlife Assn for many years, Jerry was the 'Law of the Woods' and was widely respected by everyone who he came in contact with. Jerry knew that I wanted to be a policeman when I grew up and always gave an encouraging word and showed me tricks to deal with people that I still employ today. I credit Mr. Freeman with the successes I have had in my career thus far and I am sure I am not the only person who was positively impacted by his consistent exhibition of professionalism and his exercising of his skills as a law enforcement professional. It has been said that the Measure of a Life is its Service... If that is true, Jerry's life was off the charts, as he not only served his community, but encouraged future generations of lawmen to do the same. God Bless the entire Freeman family. --Jason Warren

Jerry Freeman was a good man. I am proud to have been able to call him a friend and Masonic brother. May God bless his family and hold each of you in His hand through this very difficult time. We will all him, his stories (which he could tell better than anyone) and his laughter. What a beautiful life, and what precious memories. Gary Butler, Kountze
