Jerry has been a part of our lives for as far as I can remember. Every time I saw him, he would say “hey, little girl!” I can hear his voice ringing in my ears. My dad, Rip, met Jerry when they both drove 18-wheelers. I remember countless hours of them playing online video games together. After Daddy died exactly 10 months before Jerry, Jerry gave me the best memory I could ever have of him: he walked me down the aisle in my daddy’s place. I will never forget Jerry, and I will always love him for his kindness, but most especially for being the BEST friend my dad ever had. We love you, Jerry Brents!!! — the Pesnell family
