Obituary

Jamie Lynn Blanchard, 54, of Liberty, passed away December 8, 2013. She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by parents, T.J. and Betty Landry; brothers, Steve Gamble and Ronnie Gamble.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Crowder and wife Tabatha of Saratoga; grandchildren, Makenzie Crowder, Makayla Crowder, Caleb Crowder, Landen Crowder and Lyla Crowder; sisters, Janis Camp of Saratoga, Donna Atkinson of Batson and Phyllis Attaway and husband Gene of Batson; numerous nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Larry Barnhart.

Her family will receive friends at Calvary Tabernacle of Batson on Tuesday December 10, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A service of remembrance is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 10, 2013 at Calvary Tabernacle of Batson, officiated by Reverend Tolbert Hudspeth. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Although it has been many years, I have fond memories of Jamie as she was a part of our family. I am sorry for the liss if a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister,aunt, cousin, and friend. Lean on Jesus during this difficult time. My prayers are with Jerry and his family, and her family.
