James Donahoe of Hull, Texas, died on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was 71.

A native of Pasadena, he had lived in Hull and was a retired carpenter for DuPont. He was a member of Hardin United Methodist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Donahoe and Wilma Helvey Donahoe. Brother Doug Donahoe and son Tim Spurlock.

Survivors are his wife Nancy Donahoe of Hull. Daughter, Laura Jent, and husband Matt of LaPorte. Sons, Johnny Spurlock and wife April of Hardin, and Donnie Spurlock of Gladewater. Brother David Donahoe and wife Sonya of Clearlake, sister-in-law Marilyn Donahoe of LaPorte, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.

Grandchildren are Laura, Mindy, Casey, Joey, Ryan, Jade, Hunter, Hayden, Layla, Kali, Elese, Presleigh, and Ava. Also numerous great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service in honor of James will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 6:00 P.M. at Hardin United Methodist Church with Reverend Gideon Watson officiating.
